Nathaniel Vallois (violin) was born in Paris in 1974 and gave his first solo performance aged nine. Two years later he was invited to play for Zino Francescatti. His teachers have included Itzhak Rashkovsky at the Royal College of Music and Ruggiero Ricci. He has received many prizes and awards and performed extensively as soloist and chamber musician throughout the UK and abroad. He has been Senior Violin Teacher at the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music since 2004 and also teaches at the Purcell School .
Daniel Smith (piano) studied at the Royal Academy of Music. Since then he has enjoyed a busy and varied career as a soloist, accompanist and teacher. He has performed concertos in the UK and around Europe, including the Royal Festival Hall in London . Accompaniment and chamber music are a major part of Daniel's life and he works regularly for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and the Philharmonia Orchestra, as well as being staff accompanist at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department and the Purcell School .
The Marylebone Trio was formed in 2003 by postgraduate students at the Royal Academy of Music. They have given recitals to appreciative audiences around the UK , including appearances at many festivals and music clubs. In 2007 they reached the finals of the Tunnell Trust Chamber Music Competition. They are keen on educational work, and have held children's workshops and run chamber music courses.
Jemma Bausor (oboe) studied at Wells Cathedral School , the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, where she won several awards and a scholarship. She completed her training in Santander , Spain . She now has a busy freelance career as an orchestral musician and soloist
Jessica Tipton (clarinet) studied at Bristol University (where she gained a degree in French and Russian), the St Petersburg Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Music where she won various prizes. She now has a busy career, playing regularly for various orchestras
Alexandra Davidson (bassoon) studied at Oxford University , and the Royal Academy of Music where she won various prizes and was first bassoon for the RAM Sinfonia. She has recently been co-principal bassoon in the Southbank Sinfonia, and has played with various orchestras throughout the UK .
