'What the Dickens !'

A 'jollification' to celebrate his 200th anniversary

A one-off and unusual programme devised to suit all tastes, with special appeal to lovers of Dickens's work, but also suitable those unfamiliar with his stories and intriguing characters.

We hope that you will enjoy the friendly atmosphere during which our much enlarged team of readers will be presenting a miscellany of extracts from som of the writer's major works. Some children will also be performing.

We look forward to seeing you for these celebrations. Please bring a suitable hat or bonnet for the occasion ! There will be wine and cheese for everyone.
