Alena Lugovkina (flute) was born in Moscow and studied at the Gnesins Special Music School, at the Royal Academy of Music and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She won 1st Prize at the RAM competition “J&J Brough Prize”, as well as 1st Prize at the 13th International Flute Competition “Friedrich Kuhlau” in Germany and 1st Prize at the British Flute Society's Competitions. She has performed at the most prestigious UK venues including Royal Festival Hall, Buckingham Palace, Wigmore Hall and Barbican Hall, has toured throughout the world and has won several prestigious awards. In 2013 she was awarded Exceptional Talent Tier1 visa to live and work in the United Kingdom awarded by the Arts Council of England and Home Office UK, making her one of only 35 professionals in that year. She has recently played as a Guest Principal with the Philharmonia Orchestra and BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and has played with various other leading orchestras.

Ofer Falk (violin) was born in Israel in 1967, and studied in Tel-Aviv and Vienna. He won numerous prizes in international competitions including the Henryk Szerying special prize (1993) and top prizes in the Tchaikovsky 10th International Competition in Moscow (1994) and Montreal International Violin Competition (1995). He has performed as soloist with most leading Israeli orchestras, and played in most of the prestigious UK venues. He was founder member and leader of the Schidlof Quartet (1994-2001) and the Falk Quartet (2001-2003), and now leads the Allegri Quartet. He is a professor of Violin at the Trinity College of Music, and also teaches at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has appeared frequently as guest leader of the English Chamber Orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

Viv McLean (piano) , the winner of the First Prize at the 2002 Maria Canals International Piano Competition in Barcelona , has performed at all the major venues in the UK and played concerti with most major UK orchestras. Viv studied at the Royal Academy of Music and was the piano winner at the Royal Overseas-League Music Competition and one of three winners of the National Federation of Music Societies' Young Artists Competition, leading to appearances throughout Great Britain . Viv has recorded regularly for BBC Radio 3 and recorded for Sony Classical Japan and Naxos , as well as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's own label.
