Perivale Wood is a unique 27 acre area of ancient oak and bluebell woodland, hidden away in Perivale. It is the second oldest nature reserve in Britain , and is owned and managed by the Selborne Society. It is one of the finest examples of a Bluebell wood in the UK , with over 4 million bluebells on show ! It is also the richest wildlife site in the borough of Ealing, with 115 species of birds etc. It is normally closed to the general public, and this walk offers an opportunity to see another major Perivale attraction – almost as important and unique as St Mary's ??
