Charlotte Bonneton was born in 1987 in France and began playing the violin at the age of six. She graduated from the Grenoble Coservatoire in 2001, and from the Schola Cantorum, Paris in 2004. She was a finalist in the Johansen Competition for Young String Players in Washington DC in 2003 and won Second Prize in the Junior Category of the Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poland . She won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in 2005, to study with Prof Gyorgy Pauk, and graduated with first class honours this year, winning several prestigious prizes. This year Charlotte is completing her Master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music and is particularly grateful to the Boise Foundation, as well as the Musicians Benevolent Fund, the Accenture Foundation and several other trusts for supporting her studies. She plays on a Bernardel violin and gratefully acknowledges its loan from the Royal Academy of Music. She has already played in several prestigious venues in both France and the UK .
Kristine Balanas was born in 1990 in Lithuania . She commenced the violin when aged 7 and won her first national competition when aged 9. She then won the Gradus ad Parnassum International Violin Competition ( Lithuania ) and Young Musician International Violin Competition ( Estonia ). Subsequently she has won awards in many international violin competitions, most recently winning first prize in the 12 th International Violin competition in Kloster Schontal in Germany . She has given solo recitals across Europe , and performed with numerous orchestras, including the Latvian National Orchestra, Vidzemes Chamber Orchestra, Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovakian Chamber Orchestra, Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, etc. She is now studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Prof. Gyorgy Pauk.
Tadashi Imai made his debut in Tokyo in 1997 under the auspices of the Japan Committee of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. As a prize-winner of several international competitions in Japan and the United States , he has performed Chopin's Piano Concerto no.1 with the Osaka Symphoniker and Tchaikovsky's Concerto no. 1 with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. As a Grand Prize winner of the Grand Prix International Chopin Competition, he made his New York debut at Carnegie Hall. Tadashi is a graduate of Toho Gakuen College of Music, the Texas Christian University and the Royal Academy of Music, London . Since 2005, Tadashi has been working with the violinist and academy professor György Pauk's violin class. In 2008, he was appointed Associate of the Royal Academy of Music ( ARAM ). His concert commitments for 2009-2010 include solo recitals and chamber music concerts in Japan , England , France , Ireland , Spain , Holland , Poland and Germany .
