Aleksandar Pavlovic was born in 1994 in Belgrade, Serbia. At the age of seventeen he won a full scholarship to the Royal College of Music in London, where he recently graduated as a Master of Piano Performance (2018), in the class of Norma Fisher. During his time at the RCM, Aleksandar was generously supported by the Soire´e d'Or committee and Delta Foundation (Serbia), later becoming a Margaret Mount Scholar. He was also helped by Talent Unlimited Trust UK. Before coming to the UK, Aleksandar studied in his hometown, Belgrade (Dr Vojislav Vuckovic Music School) with Branka Ziravac.

As a soloist, Pavlovic has performed in a number of concerts at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall (Elgar Room), the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Victoria & Albert museum, St. James' Piccadilly, Steinway Hall and Yamaha Music Centre in London, Edinburgh Society of Musicians, Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, Belgrade City Hall, Kolarac Concert Hall, The Cultural Centre of Belgrade, Russian Cultural Centre in Paris, Aula Magna dell'Universita la Sapienza in Rome, Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi in Gorizia, to name but a few. Pavlovic has also appeared on Serbian National Television on several occasions, culminating in his debut with the Symphony Orchestra of the Radio-Television of Serbia and Maestro Bojan Sudjic, performing R. Schumann's Piano concerto (2016), which was later broadcast on BBC Radio 3.

The awards that Pavlovic has won in national and international competitions include: Concours International de Piano Alexandre Scriabine, Paris (1st Prize); Robert Schumann and Chapell Medal competitions at the Royal College of Music, London (2nd Prize and Silver medal); International Piano Competitions “Roma” and Citta di Gorizia, Italy (first prizes); Nikolai Rubinstein piano competition, Paris (1st Prize); the Republic Piano Competition (1st prize) and Petar Konjovic piano competition, Serbia (1st prizes); Dositeja Award from the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sports for achievements in the field of classical music.
