Jenna Sung (piano) is a South Korean pianist based in London. She made her orchestral debut at the age of ten with Beethoven Piano Concerto no 1. She was subsequently the winner of numerous piano competitions and her career has led her to many cities around the world – performing regularly at venues in London, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland and South Korea. Notable performances include a successful debut at the Berlin Philharmonic in 2008, an invitation from Kawai European headquarters to perform in Germany as well as a solo recital at the Palermo Classica International Festival in Italy, Benasque Music festival in Spain and solo recital tour in Spain. More recently, her solo recital at St John's Smith Square was broadcast live by BBC Radio 3. After her performance at the Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition, Jenna was identified as "The talent of tomorrow" by Gramophone. She has received many prizes at other international piano competitions: JSP Piano Competition London, RCM Concerto Competition London, International Piano Competition Ciudad de Huesca in Spain, "Stefano Marizza" in Italy, Maria Canals in Spain, "Carl Filtsch" in Romania, "Premio Iturbi" Valencia in Spain and others. She won the Jaques Samuel Intercollegiate Piano Competition following which she gave a Wigmore recital. She has studied in Seoul, Berlin, Warsaw, the Royal College of Music, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
