Vitaly Pisarenko was born in Kiev in 1987 and gave his first public recital when aged 6. He studied at the Central Music School in Moscow and then the Moscow Conservatory from 1999 until 2012. Since then he has studied at the Royal College of Music with Dimitri Alexeev, where he completed his Master's degree with distinction in 2014 and is currently studying for an Artist Diploma. He has also been studying in Italy with Boris Petrushansky at the Piano Academy in Imola. He won 1st prize in the 8th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in the Netherlands in 2008. Since then he has performed in more than 25 countries including appearances in Germany, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Norway, Belgium, Lithuania, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, China, Japan, South Korea, Mexico and the United States and performances at the Basilica Festival of Flanders, the Piano Pic Festival in France, the Berlin International Music Festival, the Delft Chamber Music Festival and the Busoni Festival in Bolzano. in Autumn 2015 he won 3rd prize in the Leeds International Piano Competition, playing Rachmaninov's Third Concerto. He has a huge reputation as an exceptional young pianist. Performance highlights of 2016-2017 include recitals and concerts with orchestras in Israel, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland and Bulgaria.
