British violinist Martyn Jackson studied in Berlin and was a Foundation Scholar at the Royal College of Music. He has frequently attended the International Musicians' Seminar Prussia Cove and has also studied with Zakhar Bron and Ana Chumachenco. Martyn's recent concert schedule has included solo and chamber music performances at the Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Musikverein, Berlin Konzerthaus, Queen Elisabeth Hall, Gasteig Philharmonie, Purcell Room and King's Place. As a soloist, he has appeared with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Northern Chamber Orchestra and Berliner Capella. In addition to his solo concert schedule he is now leader of the Allegri Quartet, having led the Cavaleri Quartet until February 2016 when the quartet disbanded. Martyn has served as guest Assistant Concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia, and BBC Scottish Orchestra and is frequently invited to appear as guest leader of Orquestra Sinfonica do Porto Casa da Música in Portugal. He performs on a Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume kindly on loan to him from Frau Angela Schmeink. Martyn and duo partner violist Ann Beilby were winners of the Royal Overseas League Competition Ensemble Award 2015 and look forward to future engagements at Wigmore Hall, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a series of concerts in Lucerne.

Australian violist Ann Beilby made her solo debut in the Sydney Opera house at 19 and has won many awards and prizes, both as a solo and chamber musician. These include the ‘Schott & Co. Publishing Prize' at the 2006 Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and the Cecil Aronowitz, Lionel Tertis & Lesley Alexander Prizes at the RCM (2009). Annie was also a finalist in the RCM ‘String Player of the Year' Award in 2009, and joint winner of the 2007 RCM Autumn Concerto Competition String section. Having graduated from the RCM with Distinction in 2010, Ann now enjoys a rich and varied musical life, freelancing with many of the major London symphony and chamber orchestras. Ann is very grateful to her mentors Guenter Pichler, Alex Todicescu (Sydney Conservatorium of Music), Ian Jewel (RCM, London), as well as the Worshipful Company of Musicians in London, the Musicians Benevolent Fund, the Leverhulme Trust, the Richard Carne Trust, the Meyer Foundation, the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia, the Australian Music Foundation and the Royal College of Music for all of their support. She plays on a wonderful modern viola made for her in 2011 by David Milward.

London-born pianist Alexander Soares is increasingly in demand as a soloist. He has performed across the United Kingdom in such venues as the Royal Festival Hall and Purcell Room, Southbank Centre, The Barbican Centre, The Wigmore Hall, The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, and has also performed in major venues across France and Spain and has been broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 numerous times. He recently won the Gold Medal of the highly prestigious Royal Overseas League Competition. Currently a winner of Making Music's 2014 AYCA scheme, he has also won numerous awards including prizes at the Dudley International Piano Competition, Brant International Competition, Beethoven Society of Europe Competition, and awards from the Musician's Benevolent Fund, Countess of Munster Trust and Martin Musical Scholarship Foundation. Alexander currently studies with Ronan O'Hora on the Doctoral programme at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is most grateful to the Guildhall School Trust for their generous support.
