Guy Johnston (cello) is one of the leading cellists of his generation. Born into a musical family, he was a chorister at King's College Cambridge and went on to study with Steven Doane, David Waterman, Steven Isserlis, Ralph Kirshbaum, and Bernard Greenhouse. He was BBC Young Musician of the Year 2000, playing at the 2001 Opening Night of the Proms and won a Classical Brit Award. Since then, he has played with leading orchestras worldwide and is regularly broadcast on radio 3. He is a founder member of the award winning Aronowitz Ensemble and regularly attends Open Chamber Music at Prussia Cove. He is now a professor at the Royal Academy of Music, and enjoys connecting with young musicians, also giving classes at the Royal College of Music and specialist music schools around the UK. He is a patron of numerous charities and recently ran the London Marathon to help raise £20,000 for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust.

Tom Poster (piano) is internationally recognised as a pianist of outstanding artistry and versatility, equally in demand as soloist and chamber musician across an unusually extensive repertoire. He won First Prize at the Scottish International Piano Competition 2007, the Ensemble Prize at the Honens International Piano Competition 2009, and the keyboard sections of the Royal Over-Seas League and BBC Young Musician of the Year Competitions in 2000. Since his London concerto debut at the age of 13, Tom has appeared in a wide-ranging concerto repertoire of over 30 major works with major orchestras in prestigious venues. Tom features regularly on BBC Radio 3 as soloist and chamber musician, and appeared in both capacities at the BBC Proms in 2008, 2009 and 2011. Tom enjoys duo partnerships with Alison Balsom, Guy Johnston and Jennifer Pike, has recently collaborated with Ian Bostridge at the Aldeburgh Festival and Steven Isserlis at Wigmore Hall. His debut solo CD, In Dance and Song, was released on Champs Hill Records in January 2014.
